This year we celebrate a very special milestone:
75 years of history
In 1951, four founding partners combined their professional knowledge and experience to embark on an industrial project by establishing a commercial company. Initially, the company’s purpose was the manufacture of toys and small metal parts, but shortly thereafter, the company identified opportunities in the production of fastening elements, specifically metal washers. Since then, DOISTUA has been dedicated to the production of metal components, mainly washers, building day by day a trajectory based on the effort, dedication, and expertise of all the people who have been part of this project. Over the decades, many professionals have passed through here who, with their work and commitment, have contributed to what we are today.
Seventy-five years later, many things have changed, but our essence remains intact: we continue to operate from Galdakao (Bizkaia), where we were founded and where our roots remain, while staying open to the world. More than 30 years ago, we took a decisive step towards internationalization. Today, that path has led us to export more than 85% of our production, consolidating our presence in international markets.
If there is one thing that has always defined our journey, it is our firm commitment to quality in each of our processes and products, as well as our focus on meeting customer needs. Celebrating 75 years is not only about looking back with pride, but also about looking to the future with the same enthusiasm and responsibility that have brought us this far.
